The World Health Organization (WHO) is in full support of a leadership network to promote gender equality, and in this respect WHO is pleased to present herewith the two commitments we will make in support of the International Gender Champions initiative.
I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

I also commit to undertake the following:
By September 2017, three to five WHO Fact Sheets reviewed and updated to better reflect gender. This commitment is designed to raise the visibility and understanding of gender in global health.
By September 2017, the number of WHO female staff in the professional and higher categories is increased by 3% from 42% in 2015 to 45% in 2017, with a focus on increasing the number of women at the P5 level and above.
