France is particularly committed to gender equality issues, both nationally and internationally. The permanent representation of France to the United Nations in Vienna is therefore fully supportive of all initiatives supporting gender equality. This approach could allow us to integrate in a more concrete way the issue of gender in all Vienna based organizations. In our view, an equal participation of women and men in decision-making is essential to increase institutional effectiveness. Therefore, I am proud to be a member of the Vienna branch of International Gender Champions.
