The Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC), WaterAid and WASH United cordially invite you to a session entitled “Translating Rights to Reality: The human rights to water and sanitation as a powerful tool for local government”, which will take place on 7 December 2017 in Geneva.
This session aims to understand barriers to and solutions for successful implementation of the human rights to water and sanitation at the national, sub-national and local levels, as well as to share tools, best practice and innovations in programming and policy. Prior to the meeting a brief overview of existing tools will be shared with participants.


The session will run for 2 hours and will include several short presentations from partners, as well as a facilitated discussion. Participants will include a range of stakeholders, including UN entities, member states, NGOs and academia.
