In addition to the Panel Parity Pledge, each Gender Champion makes two individual annual commitments specific to moving gender equality forward in their organization.

Develop an actionable strategy towards achieving gender parity across the organization, including at the highest levels of management.

Conduct a rigorous review of our approach and our policies on promoting a work place culture that embraces diversity and equality, including proactively safeguarding against sexual harassment and misconduct (both within the Global Fund and with implementers), and address any gaps identified in current approach or policies.

Continue to advocate for gender balance in the staffing of the IAEA and other UN organisations, particularly at senior levels.

Require all UN Foundation staff to participate in a gender knowledge assessment survey by December 2018 to inform institutional learning, planning and standards.

Harassment in any form is simply not acceptable at UN Environment. I commit to a zero-tolerance stance against sexual harassment and any retaliation for taking action against it!

Train Technical Officers to encourage IEC technical committees to adopt a more gender balanced approach in all relevant IEC International Standards.

Seek for an enabling working environment for women, both for diplomatic staff and locally-hired staff, and raise awareness of the importance of work-life balance.

“Conversations with Women in Conflict Zones” – a new initiative to be featured on the agenda of the annual Expanded Management Committee Meeting and Commissioner-General’s Consultative Group to further inform UNRWA management regarding the barriers faced by female national staff, in an effort to promote dialogue and foster cultural change in the organization.

Ensure a work environment which fosters a healthy family-work balance and embraces diversity in DCAF's staff, fully reflected in new rules and regulations to be adopted in 2018.

Institutionalize capacity building on gender equality for all staff at every level which will ensure a better integration of gender equality throughout DCAF's work.
