Personal Commitments
I commit to actively speaking out against Gender Based Violence (GBV) and challenging sexist attitudes and behaviors within my personal and professional circles. I will engage myself and others in ongoing education to deepen our understanding of GBV dynamics and work towards creating a safe and supportive environment for all individuals, regardless of their Gender identity. I pledge to intervene when witnessing instances of GBV or discrimination, and to support survivors by providing resources and assistance as needed
I pledge to lead by example in promoting a culture of zero tolerance towards Gender Based Violence and sexist attitudes in all aspects of my life. As a Human Rights defender, I will strive to foster open dialogue and awareness about the harmful impacts of GBV and discrimination, actively engaging with peers and my community in conversations to challenge harmful beliefs and behaviors. Additionally, I will seek opportunities to support organizations and initiatives working towards eradicating GBV and promoting gender equality, advocating for systemic change and accountability at every opportunity.
