Michèle Taylor

Every aspect of society benefits when women and girls in all their diversity are welcomed and truly empowered to bring the full spectrum of their experiences and perspectives to the table. I have spent a lifetime advocating for the advancement of women and girls by removing barriers to STEM fields, addressing violence and discrimination against women, and creating opportunities for diverse voices to weigh in everywhere. I am deeply committed to mentorship as an effective form of supporting emerging leaders and to challenging our societal concepts of femininity.

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.

Personal Commitments

I commit to establishing a program in partnership with the International Gender Champions that mentors and trains young people to become future leaders in the field of gender equality.
I commit to hosting quarterly parlor meetings to advance gender equity with a particular focus for 2024 on engaging men and boys in conversations and initiatives that challenge traditional gender norms and stereotypes.
