As an International Gender Champion, I am committed to advancing our collective quest for breaking barriers and building equality everyday, for equal rights, equal voices, and equal futures.

Personal Commitments
Promote gender mainstreaming into all relevant work of the Mission and its organizational culture, while actively participating in multilateral activities to raise awareness on gender equality as a founding member of the Geneva Group of Friends to Eliminate Sexual Harassment (GOFESH) launched in 2021.
Advocate international efforts to prevent and respond to sexual and gender-based violence in conflicts, by providing support for victims and survivors, collaborating with the Global Survivors Fund (GSF), and, as appropriate, other actions, including supporting the “Action with Women and Peace” initiative (launched by the Korean government in 2018), and the Republic of Korea's related initiatives in the Security Council.
