The IGC Secretariat cordially invites you to the second IGC Lunch and Learn: Driving Radical Change: Reclaiming Ecofeminist Perspectives on Thursday 15 June from 12:00 to 13:00 Geneva time. This event will take place in a hybrid format. If you are available to attend in-person, please join us on the seventh floor of the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), located at the Maison de la Paix. Please note that in-person attendance is limited to 20 participants and that spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

During this second Lunch & Learn, speakers will examine how the exploitation of the environment and the oppression of women and marginalized groups are linked and how they intersect with other forms of oppression. The event will promote an understanding of how ecofeminism sketches out paradigmatic shifts towards a sustainable and equitable future and promote dialogue on how to operationalize ecofeminist perspectives in policy and practice.

This event is part of the IGC’s ‘Lunch and Learn’ series which aims to facilitate encounters between the IGC community and leading experts, academics and activists. These events will take place throughout 2023 and will be open to IGC focal points, Champions as well as a wider community of students, researchers and policy makers.

Kindly RSVP by Thursday 8 June via the following link to let us know whether you will attend in-person or online, and indicate your lunch preference.
