This International Women's Day, join the community and have your portrait displayed at an Inside Out Photobooth Action (11:15 – 17:45), then attend a panel discussion (18:15-19:45) on women’s participation in peace efforts.
The panel discussion will be inaugurated by the State Secretary for Security Policy Dr. Markus Mäder. Panelists, including women peacebuilders, diplomats, and scholars, will focus on the role of women in building and protecting peace around the world.
The event is e co-hosted by the Swiss Confederation and organized by the State of Geneva, UN Women, the University of Geneva, the UN Office at Geneva, the UN Department of Peace Operations, the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, and the Elsie Initiative Fund.
