Personal Commitments
Continue breaking down gender barriers in recruitment, retention, and promotion of staff, aiming at achieving and sustaining gender parity at all levels within my organization, and increasing diversity of staff, being guided by UN policies, including Administrative Instruction ST/AI/2020/5, "Temporary Special Measures for the Achievement of Gender Parity."
Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive institutional culture in my organization, ensuring that staff at all levels complete mandatory UN courses on gender and prevention of prohibited conduct, including sexual harassment; and working closely with the Gender Focal Points to raise awareness of gender issues and gender-sensitive work environment, through campaigns, in-house activities and training, and information sessions for staff.
