According to a well-known Slovenian saying, it is women who hold up "three corners of the house". However, despite their critical contribution to society, gender equality is not yet a reality in any country in the world. It is therefore also up to men, both individually and collectively, to help in breaking down the artificial barriers and glass ceilings that still confront women. By championing equal fatherhood in family life and defeminizing work-life balance processes, men can engage in overcoming traditional gender roles and act as important allies and agents of meaningful and mutually beneficial change

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.
  • Use the Chairmanship of the OSCE MenEngage Network to advocate for stronger language on gender equality and women's empowerment as cross-dimensional issue, including by speaking out at all the UNSCR1325-related events.

  • Improve the balance of work and family life, also by avoiding organizing meetings during early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
