I commit to ensuring that women’s voices are equally represented in events and dialogues hosted by the Permanent Mission of Canada to the African Union, by inviting 50% women speakers to participate.

I will use my platform as Ambassador to advance gender equality by promoting the meaningful participation and leadership of women, by participating in Plan International’s Girls Takeover initiative, by mentoring at least two women interested in diplomacy, and by emphasizing women’s leadership in at least 10 speaking engagements and social media posts.
