Personal Commitments
Amid global pushback against gender equality, Germany will stand firm in defending the equal rights of all women and girls and promoting gender-responsive multilateralism in Geneva and beyond. Our Mission will continue to advance gender equality across negotiation processes and daily work. Together with like-minded partners, we will support initiatives that strengthen women’s leadership and participation across international organisations and civil society.
As Co-Host of the IGC’s Climate Gender Impact Group, I will focus on integrating gender perspectives into climate action to ensure that women and girls — those most affected by climate change — have a full voice in decision-making.
