I will ensure that gender and geographical balance are integrated into the overall new communication strategy, which aims to be gender-neutral and inclusive through the choice of visual images and concepts. This will be backed up via communication activities, public outreach including social media presence, as well as public and cultural diplomacy.

Continue to implement a gender perspective into all internal policies, strategies and actions of the Delegation of the European Union to Vienna that will reinforce the capacity of the Delegation to integrate gender in advocacy and programmatic work and actively promote gender-responsive budgets in all Vienna-based agencies in order to increase women's visibility and empowerment in the UN system.
