Global Board
Coming from a region with strong feminist movements, women's rights are central to our national and international policies. Our challenge today is how to implement a Feminist Foreign Policy that advocates for the representation and the substantive presence of women in the decision-making process aiming at gender equality as a key component our foreign policy decisions and at the center of our multilateral work.
I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.
I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.
Personal Commitments
I commit to championing women’s leadership wherever decisions are made—especially in contexts of conflict, peacebuilding and political transformation. I will use my voice, experience and every platform available to me to ensure that women are not only present, but listened to, valued and able to shape a more just and equal world.
I commit to advancing international standards that actively reshape decision-making systems and secure women’s and girls’ equal power, leadership and participation as a universal and binding human rights obligation.
