We need bold, urgent action to secure a global clean energy transition that leaves no one behind as we work towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 7. Women and youth are key stakeholders in this energy transition and must be at the forefront of decision-making so that plans and policies fully address their specific needs and ensure a more prosperous future for all.

I will ensure women’s voices and experiences are central to decisions on SDG 7, embedding gender equality in energy transitions and fostering collaboration among leaders, practitioners and youth.
