The world must take a strong stance against oppression of women and girls, against attempts to reduce them to walking shadows. When societies erase their women - their traditions, culture and heritage diminish. The fight for gender equality is a fight for us all.

Continue the work done by my organization to bring to Geneva the voices of victims and survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, including those from armed conflict.
I will ensure that women represent at least 50% of participants in panels, delegations, and projects the Mission is undertaking, fostering equal representation in international decision-making spaces.
