Through Women without Borders’ Parenting for Peace Models, MotherSchools and FatherSchools, WwB will continue to empower parents, especially mothers, to be agents of peace, preventing continuous cycles of violence to impact the next generation. The curriculum strengthens the participants’ individual capacity, capability, and emotional literacy, and heightens their awareness of radical influences. Participants are trained to be role models and security allies, taking action in their families and communities.

Contribute toward eliminating the taboo that surrounds gender-based violence, with the aim to challenge singular gender roles, by expanding the model ‘Women Know How’ across two locations in Austria in 2025. With this prevention project, Women without Borders bring women together in Story Telling Circles, offering a safe space to address their own experiences of violence and to break through individual isolation by capitalising on group dynamics, trust, and bonding.
