Greece prioritizes gender-equal representation, participation and leadership as a cross-cutting issue, which guides its national policy, whether domestic or foreign.

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.

Personal Commitments

I will actively promote the Women, Peace and Security Agenda, which is one of the priorities of Greece’s candidature for a Security Council non-permanent seat for the period 2025-2026, by taking this cross-cutting theme into consideration in the statements I deliver on regional issues and by encouraging synergies with my colleagues.
I will make sure that there is gender balance in the panelists of all the side-events organized or co-sponsored by Greece during 2024 and organize or co-sponsor at least one side-event focused specifically on women in the framework of CSocD62 or/and CSW68.
