The International Gender Champions – Geneva provides an innovative platform for showing how very practical actions can have a direct impact on working conditions and perceptions. We need personal commitments to close gaps where they exist, to counter bias and to give everybody equal opportunities at all levels. It is a privilege to be part of the network and to help move forward the same opportunities for all.

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.

Personal Commitments

Equip members of the personnel with practical tools to reduce gender-based unconscious bias, through: i) an interactive theatre piece on sexism in the workplace, and ii) a 1/2day Workshop in English and French on “Transforming bias”.
Continue with the implementation of the “25 by ‘25” aspirational gender target strategy, ie. to increase the percentage of women employed by CERN to 25% by the end of 2025, with a particular focus on women in STEM.
