Fabricio Guariglia

Gender equality is not only a legal and moral imperative; it is a human right.  It also leads to effective, resilient and fair organizations, as well as peaceful and inclusive societies. I will keep promoting justice for women and girls, in all their diversity, through the rule of law in all aspects of our work, and help break down barriers for their full advancement as equal members of society.

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.

Personal Commitments

I commit to foster an organizational culture where gender equality and women’s empowerment are measurable and embedded in all processes. For this, I will (1) ensure gender parity in my team; (2) provide a diversity training for the entire office to support and promote an inclusive work environment; and (3) advocate for the realization of a gender audit within the organization.
I will support and promote IDLO’s Gender Strategy, ensuring the integration of a gender perspective in our policy advocacy, research and programming work, advocating for the inclusion of women and girls in Hague-based initiatives, and bringing to the forefront core gender equality issues, including eliminating discriminatory laws, combatting gender-based violence and enhancing the participation of women justice professionals.
