To platform the voices of women throughout Ireland’s work at the UN, including by regularly meeting with and supporting the work of women human rights defenders and women’s rights organisations.

To co-chair the process to revitalise the Commission on the Status of Women so that it is fit for purpose and responds effectively to the needs of women and girls everywhere, while reaffirming its vital mandate of promoting women’s rights, gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.
