Gordan Markotić

Women comprise half of each society and are rich of unique talents and potential. Full and equal participation of women, young women and girls in the society has a multiplier effect on poverty eradication, productivity as well as sustainable economic growth. Moreover, women’s political empowerment and access to leadership positions is essential to improve the democratic representation and achieve a more equal world. I believe it is our collective duty to support the endeavours towards eliminating all forms of discrimination and making substantive equality between women and men a reality. Only this way we can achieve sustainable and prosperous societies.

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.
