Personal Commitments
Advocate for the protection and realisation of the rights of women and girls across all areas of UNESCO’s mandate, specifically by leveraging Australia’s role on the Executive Board over the 2026-27 biennium to ensure that the implementation metrics of the UNESCO80 Roadmap are meaningfully gender-transformative.
Champion the structural representation of women experts and First Nations women in nominations for UNESCO’s advisory bodies, expert panels, and international awards, ensuring diverse women’s voices directly shape multilateral governance and global policy making.
