Awareness raising commitment: The EFTA Secretariat commits to organising at least two events every year, to raise awareness of gender related topics. Examples include events regarding unconscious bias in the workplace, and the importance of involving all in the discussion on fair and equal treatment in the workplace.
Gender Equality Policy - Implementation commitment: The EFTA Secretariat commits to enforcing a Gender Equality Policy, which actively supports gender equality with regard to recruitment, terms of employment, access to training and professional developments, and work-life balance. The objectives are monitored by presenting statistics on gender balance in these areas, reported to the management group and a designated Gender Equality Group. The results and analytics can result in concrete actions if gender inequality or gender bias occurs in the organisation.
