“Gender inequality and sex discrimination profoundly impact lives across the globe. International (human rights) law can play a role in promoting and protecting gender equality in professional environments and beyond. It is important to bring a gender perspective in the conversation on international (human rights) law, as a way of advancing social justice and equality for all.”
We will track and report on the gender composition of panels at events hosted at our Institute, to ensure that they are gender-balanced. In our Annual Report, we will report on the progress made in gender equality in both our staff and panel composition.
Twice a year, we will increase awareness on the importance of the gender balance of academic panels, by a reminder in our Internal Newsletter. Our Communications Department will oversee an equal gender/diversity representation in our photography strategy.
