Achieving gender equality and empowering women, including that in the areas of development cooperation and peace and security, is a top policy priority of the Government of the Republic of Korea. I am pleased to join the International Gender Champions(IGC) alongside these governmental efforts. I will put forth my utmost effort to contribute to the collective endeavor of the IGC in breaking gender barriers in every realm of my work.
