The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs envisions a resilient, responsive and inclusive foreign service for a strong Philippines, where women and men equally benefit from development and fully enjoy their human rights. I and the Philippine Embassy in The Hague hope to contribute to this agenda by serving as “champions” in advancing gender equality and women empowerment, not only in its organization, but more importantly to fellow Filipinos in The Netherlands.

Personal Commitments

Implement and proactively participate in programs and initiatives promoting gender equality, ensure increased involvement of both women and male personnel and community members thereof, and encourage women representations and engagements with key international organizations and key NL government counterparts.
Advocate the relevance of “gender equality” by intensifying the Embassy’s communication strategies, notably incorporating the matter on Philippine statements, press releases and other issuances, among others.
