As a Gender Champion, I am proud to be part of an extended community of individuals who are committed to dismantling barriers, challenging bias, and building systems that uphold dignity and justice for all, including LGBTIQ+ communities. Inclusion is not just a principle—it is a strategy for change and the path we all must follow.

Personal Commitments
By the end of 2025, I commit to ensuring that all ILGA World legal and policy
publications will explicitly demonstrate the application of a gender lens, by way of
highlighting the distinct experiences of women in all their diversity, trans, and
gender-diverse people, by incorporating at least one paragraph or section on
gendered impacts in each publication.
By end of 2025, I will initiate an internal review of ILGA World’s workplace conduct
and safeguarding mechanisms, and ensure all staff receive a refresher session on
our anti-harassment and non-discrimination policy, linked to the IGC GBV Pledge.
