Historically, criminal proceedings have been dominated by male lawyers and jurists, with leading roles almost entirely filled by men.  I am proud to be part of a women-led court and prosecution office and I believe that progress towards gender equality begins simply with recruitment, building a balanced workplace and enabling opportunity.
