Lilian Dodzo
East Africa Regional Leader,
World Vision International
To lead with intent towards gender parity is to enable and strive for sustainable development that is inclusive, diverse and welcomes vulnerable children and communities as key participants in building their own futures, where equal opportunity is the norm. We must protect, empower and deliver on gender parity goals.
I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.
I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.
Personal Commitments
I commit to growing women in leadership, through the implementation of a regional Women in Leadership programme: WE-LEAD (WomEn Learn, Engage, Accelerate and Disrupt). It aims to mentor, grow and nurture our female talent to accelerate their personal and professional growth, position themselves and occupy senior positions. There are 165 staff members participating in the WE-LEAD programme from the World Vision East Africa Regional Office and nine Field Offices in Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
I commit to advocate for girls and boys through WV’s global Campaign, ENOUGH – ensuring that all children have enough nourishing food so they can thrive.
