It is crucial to strengthen the voice, agency, participation and leadership of women and girls in all their diversity in the different spheres of society, including participation in the decision-making process and access to power to create more inclusive societies by engaging men and boys as strategic partners and allies. This is an urgent commitment and we must take action right now, in our daily activities, we cannot come up with excuses because this is a human rights issue. Women's voices must be heard

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

Personal Commitments

Support training programs on gender based violence and institutional violence for my staff members at the Permanent Mission of Argentina to the UN in order to promote the implementation of the “Micaela Law 27.499”, which has the name of a victim of femicide from Argentina, Micaela García. The commitment is focused on implementing this Law, which is mandatory for all the officers that are part of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial powers.
Ensure the meaningful participation of women in all their diversity in every meeting and side event organized by the Mission of Argentina to the United Nations with other partners. Gender parity must be guaranteed at all levels, not only in panels but also at key decision making meetings.
