Gender equity and empowerment are crucial to a sustainable world. The inclusion of diverse voices will be essential if we are to find creative solutions to the many challenges our world is facing. At the Graduate Institute, we train all our students to question gendered power relations and their structural, organizational and ideological inscriptions and to become constructive and responsible shapers of a more inclusive and sustainable tomorrow. As the first female director in the history of the Graduate Institute and as a Gender Champion, my commitment is to foster gender equity both within the Institute and beyond through our research, teaching and involvement in public debate.
I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.
I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.
