Gender equality benefits all of us. It is at the heart of sustainable development and building a culture of peace and justice. I am proud to promote gender equality through the rule of law and equal opportunities for women and girls in all their diversity.
I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.
I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.
Personal Commitments
As a senior leader in the organization, I will promote IDLO’s Gender Strategy, including to improve gender mainstreaming by institutionalizing gender expertise and a gender perspective throughout its policy advocacy, research and learning, and field-based programming work, as well as disseminate the findings of its global research on gender-based violence, women’s participation and leadership in customary and informal justice systems, and climate justice for women and girls.
IDLO is a founding commitment maker for the Generation Equality, Action Coalitions, in particular in the following themes: gender-based violence; economic justice and rights; feminist action for climate justice; feminist movements and leadership. In pursuit of this objectives, I will continue to advocate for the inclusion of justice for women and girls in Geneva-based activities, initiatives, and multilateral forums, as well as through IDLO events organized in partnership with others.
