For the Permanent Mission of Chile, Gender Equality is a guiding principle of our public policies on human rights. Women are an absolutely indispensable part of the global efforts to improve the quality of life for everybody – both men and women, and particularly for women and children. That has been also my own personal struggle throughout my life as part of the UN.
