Gender equality is fundamental to sustainable development and effective multilateral cooperation. In my role as Ambassador and Permanent Represetative of the Republic of Ghana to Vienna, I will continue to advocate for inclusive leadership and the empowerment of women and girls in diplomacy and global partnerships in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

Personal Commitments

In 2026 and 2027, I commit to advocate for the equal rights and meaningful participation of women and girls in my speeches, statements and engagements in multilateral and bilateral fora, while encouraging dialogue and awareness on gender equality in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2026 and 2027, I commit to promote awareness of the importance of women’s leadership and gender-responsive approaches in diplomacy and international cooperation by supporting discussions, initiatives and partnerships that highlight the contributions of women and girls to sustainable development.
