Memory Kachambwa

Achieving gender equality is not a favor, it is a daily decision to challenge patriarchy, amplify women’s voices, and center feminist leadership in every policy and platform. At FEMNET, we believe it takes all of us to dismantle systems of oppression and co-create a just, inclusive future.

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.

Personal Commitments

By December 2025, FEMNET will train at least 100 staff members, partners, and grassroots members across Africa on integrating intersectional feminist approaches into programme design, implementation, and advocacy, using a newly developed Gender Transformative Toolkit.
Starting June 2025, FEMNET will ensure that at least 50% of speakers and panelists at all our regional and continental convenings are young women, women with disabilities, and grassroots feminist leaders to elevate diverse feminist perspectives in policy dialogues.
