Gender equality will only be attained by addressing inequalities and discrimination in law and in practice. We must together rewrite the narrative around social roles, norms and behavior that impede the equal advancement of society.

Personal Commitments
By June 2025, revise and update the organisation's guidance documents on human rights indicators, integrating a gender-sensitive approach to monitor States commitments and obligations.
By December 2025, raise awareness of how the UPR mechanism can address Women, Peace, and Security issues.
