We are already seeing how COVID-19 is exacerbating the stresses upon women, many of whom are juggling greater care demands at home with children and elderly family while delivering on commitments in the workplace. This pandemic will have a profound and disproportionate impact on working women. Progress we have made on gender equality is at risk of being set back. This is why I am committed to creating a workplace that offers and supports flexibility to our staff, during the pandemic and beyond.
