Nina Tornberg
Ambassador, Permanent Representative to the WTO,
Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva
Gender equality is a responsibility for all. We need to make sure that we provide economic opportunities for all and helping women do business and trade is essential. Trade and trade policy has an important role to play as an engine for economic growth, which cannot be reached to its full potential without the economic empowerment of women. As part of the International Gender Champions I am committed to supporting the participation of women in global trade and in the multilateral trading system.
I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.
I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.
