Gender equality is a priority for UNDSS: it brings more value to our workforce and operations and, most importantly, it is the right thing to do. Valuing and actively supporting gender equality is everyone’s responsibility: we all have a role to play, within our fields of work, regardless of our roles or levels.
I commit to undertake the following:
Conduct a staff survey to monitor levels of awareness and perceptions in relation to gender equality.
Fostering an equitable, diverse and inclusive work environment through cross-functional initiatives, such as training on diversity, inclusive leadership and unconscious bias.
