The 21st century will be judged by what it will achieve in terms of gender equality. But gender equality is not only a women’s issue, it is a common responsibility that we all need to embrace. It is our best strategy to face the many crises of this time and create a future of shared prosperity.

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.

Personal Commitments

I commit to developing and implementing a strategy on trade and gender so that specific gender constraints to participating in trade are better addressed and the benefits of trade become more inclusive. This work is undertaken in consultation with experts and the support of all my senior management.
I commit to use my voice and management tools to promote and lead an organization with a work culture that is inclusive, embraces gender equality, and has zero-tolerance for any form of gender-based violence.
