In a world and times of challenges, gender equality is the key to achieving our shared goals of peace, security, and development. Equality for women doesn't come easily—it requires dedication, encouragement, and strategic collaboration. We must set clear goals, strive for measurable results, and keep advancing.

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.

Personal Commitments

I commit to fostering an enabling environment for women in leadership by (1) leading a mentoring program aimed at building leadership and decision-making skills for women within the Mission and (2) promoting gender parity by nominating qualified women candidates for standing committees, conferences, and scientific forums in 2025 to achieve over 30% representation, ensuring their active participation in decision-making processes.
I commit to promoting a gender-sensitive and inclusive workplace by developing and implementing a Gender-Sensitive Code of Conduct by Q1 2025 and conducting dialogue sessions for all staff, focusing on unconscious bias, gender equality, and respectful workplace communication starting in Q2 2025.
