Involving women and young girls in the development of technology-driven tools and solutions is essential for building a more equitable society. UNICC is deeply committed to fostering the participation and leadership of women at every stage of ideation and design in the technology and digital sectors. Personally, I am determined to intensify our efforts to achieve gender parity and cultivate a more inclusive and equitable workplace.

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.

Personal Commitments

I remain committed to the organizational objective of achieving gender parity by 2028 while adhering to the principles of the System-Wide Action Plan on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment (UN-SWAP) and to our own organization’s Gender Parity Strategy. To achieve this longer-term objective, I will strengthen our efforts to retain more women and underrepresented groups by making UNICC a more inclusive workplace.
I remain committed to the organizational objective of achieving gender parity by 2028 while adhering to the principles of the System-Wide Action Plan on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment (UN-SWAP) and to our own organization’s Gender Parity Strategy. To achieve this longer-term objective, in 2025, I will redouble our focus on recruiting women, in particular from underrepresented parts of the world, into UNICC’s workforce. We will endeavor that a majority of externally advertised positions are filled by candidates from diverse backgrounds and underrepresented groups.
