Director,
United Nations International Computing Centre
“In the post COVID world we must ensure that we build back better our community. UNICC will be tasked with delivering scalable digital solutions for the UN family, as effectively and creatively as possible.
We can only live up to these expectations by ensuring we have adequate diversity of perspectives: by gender as well as by sexual orientation, nationality, and race.
Ensuring we have Gender Parity at all levels within our organization is therefore a priority for us at UNICC, and for me personally, as this will be instrumental to best support the UN system.”
I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.
I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.
Personal Commitments
I commit to championing women's participation in the cybersecurity team, including providing training and mentorship programmes specifically for the junior female cybersecurity team members, and to increase the current ratio of women in the cybersecurity team by 10% by the end of 2024.
I uphold my commitment to our organizational goal of achieving gender parity by 2028, by reinforcing the position of Gender and Inclusion Champion appointed within each division and by redoubling the effort on maintaining a flexible family-friendly work environment through innovative work-life balance initiatives and flexible policies that support the diverse needs of our staff.
