Executive Director, Global Apprenticeships Network
Shea Gopaul

It is of utmost importance for the Global Apprenticeship Network (GAN) to ensure that the youth of today – both young women and men alike – see a future of viable employment opportunities. By encouraging young women to begin their careers as apprentices, we can provide them with the opportunity to excel in traditionally male professions (i.e. STEM fields) and create an avenue for more women to reach the boardroom.

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.
  • Shed light on GAN Member Company best practices on training opportunities for young women in its Annual Catalogue of Best Practices.

  • Target women inclusion, in a series of workshops on apprenticeships for our GAN National Networks in Latin America.
