Promoting gender equality is the right thing to do, and the smart thing to do. It is an issue close to my heart, both personally and professionally. If we are to tackle the challenges of today effectively, we must harness a diverse range of skills, experiences and perspectives, to strengthen leadership, institutions and create more effective organisations. I am committed to working with partners in Vienna, and beyond, to drive progress on gender equality.

Personal Commitments
Support action in the Vienna-Based Organisations to increase women’s representation and address any barriers to their full, equal and meaningful participation, including by promoting UK female panellists at Vienna-Based Organisations events.
Promote gender perspectives and help ensure that the work of the Vienna-Based Organisations addresses threats to and promotes the rights of Women and Girls, including defending against gender rollback, by convening Ambassadors and experts in the Vienna-Based Organisations to discuss advancing gender equality.
