As EU Special Representative for Human Rights and in all other capacities, I have been committed to promoting gender equality in the EU itself and around the world. I am now proud to carry this commitment into my work at the UN as well.

I will provide leadership and support in UN processes and events related to gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls, and beyond.
I will ensure that our workplace at the EU Delegation in New York is gender equal, where all women can utilize their full potential, and I will actively support professional development opportunities for women colleagues.
