Girls and women must play a greater role in this era from building stable and peaceful societies to sustainable development and creating a better future. Gender equality is a key principle that I believe in, and work for it, within the Afghanistan Permanent Mission in Geneva, the diplomatic community in Geneva, and with the government of Afghanistan.
