Yasmine Fouad

The full and equal participation of women alongside men in activities related to drought, land degradation and desertification (DLDD) is critical for achieving the UNCCD's Strategic Objectives. Engaging the abilities, efforts and talents of women is essential to halt and reverse alarming trends in land degradation and meet global commitments to restore 1 billion hectares of degraded land by 2030. They are the key guardians securing food and nutrition to our families and wider society.

I support the IGC Panel Parity Pledge.

I support the IGC gender-based violence pledge.
