In the margins of the forthcoming 31st Session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ), the Permanent Mission of Malta to the United Nations Organisations in Vienna will be hosting a virtual side event, with the support of Argentina, Australia, Canada, Colombia, El Salvador, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Paraguay, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and the UNODC Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Section and the UNODC Research and Trend Analysis Branch, entitled “Combating and criminalising Gender-based Violence, including Femicide”.
